Daws Hall Trust, Lamarsh, Bures CO8 5EX

  • Daws Hall Nature Reserve Lamarsh, Bures, Suffolk CO8 5EX Bures, England, CO8 United Kingdom (map)

Daws Hall is a 25 acre nature reserve on the Essex-Suffolk border dedicated to environmental education. Catering for early years through all the key stages into further education and adult studies. The aim of the trust is to spark a lifelong passion for nature in everyone.

Changing dramatically throughout the seasons, the 25 acre site is small by comparison with some nature reserves, however one thing that is often said about Daws Hall is that “every acre is different”.

Highlights for most visitors include the snowdrops in February, the staggering number of dragonflies and damselflies to be seen on the riverside in summer, the incredible wildflower meadow and, at the time we are lucky enough to be visiting, over 150 varieties of roses.

The group will be limited to 20 people, and they need to be advised of the numbers by the 8th of June. There are no refreshments, but members are welcome to bring their own. For both members and non members the cost is £10.

Your ticket is the Order Number on your confirmation email , please bring the email with you, either printed or on your phone, or just write down the Order Number, when coming to the event.
